The future of class actions: potential issues for financial institutions, their directors and insurers

Kennedys is pleased to welcome Liz Collins SC to join our panel discussion on the current issues facing defendants and their insurers in securities and consumer class actions and what the future might hold.

Liz specialises in commercial law and taxation, focusing on class actions, corporations law, and insolvency. She was appointed Senior Counsel in 2010, and frequently appears in the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales, primarily in the Equity Division, representing liquidators, administrators, banks, major corporations, and handling complex, multi-party litigation.

Liz will be joined by Kennedys Partners Alexandra Bartlett and Nicole Wearne who will bring their insights from an insurance perspective. Partner Raylee Hartwell will moderate the discussion and hold a Q&A session at the end.
