Data Transfer Agreements Seminar - Melbourne & Sydney

Data Transfer Agreements Seminar - Sydney

We are pleased to invite you to our in person seminar in the Sydney office on Data Transfer Agreements and their impact on cross-border businesses.

While it sometimes seems like the Internet is borderless, an increasing number of national data protection laws restrict the transfer of personal information from one jurisdiction to another. Corporate groups with offices or branches in different countries need to be able to move data about their customers and employees freely between them. The most convenient solution is often to put in place an intragroup data transfer agreement.

During this catered seminar, Kennedys Cyber specialist Nick Blackmore will look at the rules around cross-border data transfers and the benefits, and potential shortcomings, of data transfer agreements.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions, however if you would like to submit one in advance or have any dietary requirements, please contact our events team.

CPD points: substantive law (1 unit).

We hope you can join us.
