Kennedys secures defense verdict for major movie theatre chain in trial

Kennedys partner Sean Burns and associate Kristiana Zuccarini recently secured a defense verdict in a jury trial before the New York Supreme Court, Suffolk County.

Sean and Kristiana represented a leading movie theatre chain facing claims of design and lighting defects on a staircase, which allegedly caused an individual to fall and sustain a severe leg injury.

The jury deliberated for less than 15 minutes before returning a defense verdict, finding no liability on the part of the theatre chain.
