Philip Bremer

Philip is a special counsel in our Wellington office.

With a background in general civil litigation, Philip specialises in construction, infrastructure, and property related disputes. His experience also includes commercial and residential property related actions, trade practices, consumer protection legislation, health & safety investigations and proceedings, company compliance governance shareholder and insolvency issues, resolving partnership and joint venture disputes, and general legal disputes in contract, tort and equity.

Philip has extensive experience appearing as counsel before the Courts at various levels, Tribunals, and he is particularly effective at resolving disputes through negotiation and mediation.  

Before joining Kennedys Philip was special counsel at a top tier national law firm for 7 years, and before that was a partner at a national law firm for 6 years.  

Admitted to the Bar in 1990, Philip has over 34 years’ PQE experience, including practicing in the UK and Australia.
