Alistair Darroch

Alistair is a partner in Kennedys’ Wellington office. Before joining Kennedys, he was a partner for over 12 years in a national firm and spent a further 10 years in his own practice. He specialises in insurance claims and general civil litigation, including all aspects of alternative dispute resolution.

Alistair’s strength is in the strategy he brings to his work. This is balanced with an ability to enjoy the people he works with – whether they be clients, colleagues and adversaries.

He can be found as counsel in many reported cases. In addition, many of his best results have been achieved outside of the Courtroom – in mediations and negotiations which have achieved great outcomes for his clients.
