Melissa Er

Melissa is an Associate in Kennedys Financial Lines Team in Singapore. She provides coverage advice and monitors and defends insurance claims across a range of product lines including Directors & Officers, Financial Institutions, Professional Indemnity, Cyber, and Product Recall. She also advises insurers on policy drafting in these product lines.

Melissa also acts for healthcare institutions and healthcare professionals in civil proceedings, coronial investigations, and disciplinary proceedings and advises on healthcare regulatory and ethical issues.

Melissa is a member of our APAC Cyber and Data Privacy practice. She provides incident response management for cyber incidents, including advising on data protection issues and obligations, notifications to regulators and contractual parties, and other regulatory matters arising from cyber incidents.
