Sofia is an associate for the insurance coverage team.

Sofia went to law school in France, where she earned a Master of Laws in European and international business law, followed by an LL.M. in American law in the United States. Sofia qualified as a lawyer in New York in 2023.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Sofia interned at the Bankruptcy Chamber of the Commercial Court of Paris. She also integrated the legal departments of international companies in Europe and in the United States, where she worked on cross-border matters. She found her passion for insurance law during her most recent position at RiverStone Group, where she focused on general liability insurance and bankruptcy matters.

Sofia is also fluent in Portuguese, French, and Spanish.
