Victoria is a Senior Associate in Kennedys’ Melbourne office specialising in life insurance, disability claims and general liability matters and disputes. She provides both front and back-end advice to life insurers, reinsurers, and superannuation trustees in the defence of Total and Permanent Disablement, Death and Income Protection claims, including non-disclosure and fraud disputes, in both retail and group insurance contexts. Victoria played a key role in a team that acted for and achieved a successful result for a major life insurer in regulatory proceedings commenced by ASIC.

Victoria also advises local and London market insurers in the defence of public and product liability proceedings across a variety of Australian jurisdictions, including personal injury claims and claims by injured workers and associated recoveries brought by the Victorian WorkCover Authority.

Additionally, Victoria has experience advising and representing insurer clients in accident and health and property based subrogated recoveries. She is Treasurer of the Victorian chapter of Women in Insurance and has been a Committee Member since 2019.
