Isabelle Turudia

Isabelle is an Associate in Kennedys’ Melbourne Healthcare team specialising in health litigation. She acts for a variety of clients primarily in defence of civil litigation proceedings within both the County & Supreme Courts of Victoria. Isabelle also assists clients with disciplinary proceedings before AHPRA, as well as in the Coronial jurisdiction where she regularly appears on behalf of clients and major insurers to instruct Counsel.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Isabelle acted in a range of medical negligence matters, advising both public and private clients (including insurers, hospitals and individual practitioners) on the risks and merits of defending claims.

Before qualifying as a lawyer, Isabelle held a foundational role within a medical centre for close to seven years. Her experience working alongside general practitioners, allied health professionals and nurses now allows Isabelle a deeper, more holistic insight into many issues faced by her clients – setting her apart from most lawyers with her PQE.
