Jorge de la Ballina

Jorge joined Kennedy's Madrid team in May 2024, after spending his previous career years at the Industrial Risks department of Clyde & Co.

He has vast experience advising insurers and companies in complex disputes, mainly litigating and settling matters regarding construction, engineering, energy and defective products, among others. Although he focuses on commercial and civil disputes, he is also proficient in dealing with administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings. His main areas of expertise are construction, industrial projects and insurance-related litigation, and he has a strong background in environmental liability proceedings. He works both nationally and internationally.

His academic background includes graduating in Law from CEU-San Pablo University in Madrid, undertaking journalism studies and obtaining an LLM in International Legal Practice from IE Law School in 2012. He has also undertaken complementary Business and Management studies at prestigious institutions such as Yale University (2006) and IE Business School (2012).
