Profile

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our colleague, Alfonso de Ramos. Alfonso, a Partner in our Madrid office, was not only a highly respected professional known for his dedication and expertise, but also a cherished friend to many of us here at Kennedys.

Alfonso had a unique ability to bring warmth and kindness into everything he did, whether he was guiding a client with care or offering his support and mentorship to colleagues. He was quick to share his knowledge, and his positive energy had an impact on everyone he worked with. His generosity of spirit, his genuine interest in others, and his commitment to our firm’s values will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Alfonso's family, friends, our people at Kennedys, and our clients during this incredibly difficult time. We have lost not just a colleague, but a friend, and we will always remember him fondly.

Alfonso qualified in Spain in 2000 and is a Partner in Kennedys’ office in Madrid. He is fluent in English and has over 20 years’ experience in dealing with international claims. Alfonso is an accomplished communicator and expert negotiator and has achieved exceptional results in resolving complex and high value disputes and avoiding costly litigation for our clients.
