Angela is a legal director based in Kennedys’ London office. She qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2014. She joined Kennedys in 2019, having previously spent 7 years at a boutique insurance firm based in the city.

Angela specialises in the defence of construction professionals in high value and multi-party disputes, acting for architects, contractors, engineers, subcontractors and specialist consultants. Angela is instructed both by insurers and construction professionals directly. Angela is experienced all forms of dispute resolution and has represented clients in Court proceedings, pre-action protocol proceedings, adjudication and arbitration. Angela also acts in the prevention of dispute escalation. Angela is experienced in issues arising from all main contract types and forms including JCT, NEC and RIBA.

Angela is currently acting on a number of multi-party disputes related to cladding and building regulation compliance following the tragic events at Grenfell Tower and disputes related to the design and construction of refurbishment works to Grade I and II listed buildings.

Angela is involved in the training and development of junior lawyers and support staff at the firm, including solicitor qualifying exam (SQE) trainees. Angela is also a mentor to undergraduate students through the UpReach Mentoring programme which provides support and assistance to students with less advantageous backgrounds with a view to increasing social mobility within white collar professions.
