Sam is an insurance coverage and litigation associate in the Houston Office. Sam has broad experience in litigation defense and takes pride in preparing legal analysis and advice to insurers on questions of coverage, first- and third-party claims and litigation. Sam has experience litigating insurance issues in state and federal courts.

Sam graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations in 2015. He then went on to attend law school at the University of Houston Law Center as a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. There he served as president of the UT alumni organization – the LawHorns – and as an articles editor on the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy. After graduating from law school in 2018, Sam began his legal carrier as an Assistant Attorney General of Texas in the Civil Medicaid Fraud Division where he assisted in pursuing off-label marketing and drug misbranding by pharmaceutical companies. Since transferring to private practice, Sam has handled a wide variety of insurance and injury cases including products liability, premises liability and wrongful death.
