Vanessa is an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office and focuses her practice on premises liability, auto negligence, personal injury and general civil litigation. Prior to joining Kennedys, Vanessa worked for an insurance defense firm in Fort Lauderdale where she handled multiple matters in areas including premises liability, auto negligence and general liability.

Vanessa was born and raised in Stony Brook, New York. She completed her undergraduate studies at Northeastern University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a concentration in Law. Additionally, she was a member of the Northern University varsity field hockey team. Vanessa went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law where she served as President of Miami Law Women and completed an internship for the Honorable Beth Bloom of the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

In her free time, Vanessa is a member of the Jack & Jill Center’s Young Professionals Network where she volunteers alongside other young professionals to make a positive impact on the local community.
