Tim is special counsel in the Basking Ridge office. He has a strong litigation background in the construction, medical malpractice and general liability fields defending insurers and their insureds in New York and New Jersey. Tim has represented medical professionals and healthcare providers, architects and engineers, general contractors and sub-contractors, as well as property owners and developers in professional liability, malpractice, construction accident, bodily injury, property damage, automobile, and premises liability cases, and related coverage disputes. As a litigator, defending insurers and the insured-construction companies against New York Labor Law claims, Tim’s practice included interpretation of general liability policies and construction contracts with focus on the pursuit of risk transfer.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Tim served as senior litigation counsel for an insurer, managing claims and litigation under the carrier’s general liability policy, specializing in coverage evaluations, claims adjustment, and claims / litigation management for insureds operating in the construction and utility industries.
