Daniel Cook

Daniel is a senior associate in Kennedys’ Auckland office. Daniel advises insurers on various claims, particularly in relation to professional negligence and construction claims. He is also involved in our cyber risks, health and safety and regulatory investigations work.

Daniel is an experienced civil litigator, having spent over nine years at the London office of a global commercial firm. In that time, Daniel undertook multiple secondments to financial institutions and advised clients on a broad range of issues. These varied from general commercial disputes to financial crime, regulatory investigations, cybersecurity, and data privacy.

Daniel is a foreign qualified lawyer, having graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southampton and Bachelor of Laws from Nottingham Law School.
