Ben is a Partner at Kennedys’ London office. He qualified in England and Wales in 2009 and specialises in product liability, complex property damage and general commercial litigation, often with an international or cross-border dimension.

Ben acts for insurers, international conglomerates, domestic companies and ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals. He has worked on cases at all English court levels, including the Supreme Court, and conducted international arbitrations.

He has particular experience in handling product recalls and coordinating the defence of thousands of mass tort claims in the life sciences and medical device arena across the EMEA region. Being a fluent German speaker, he regularly appears on behalf of his clients as co-counsel in the courts of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Ben also speaks French and Hebrew.

He has litigated some of the most widely-publicised cases in the UK. These include RSA’s recovery action under the Riot (Damages) Act 1886 following the attack on the Sony warehouse during the August 2011 London riots, along with a number of high-value cases arising from damage to large residential and commercial properties.

Ben leads the firm’s Israel practice group, which advises London insurers facing claims originating in Israel as well as Israeli insurers, government agencies and companies requiring assistance in the UK.

He is also listed as an expert in the product liability chapter of Who's Who Legal: Life Sciences 2017.
Ben is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).
