Ian advises on policy coverage for insurers and reinsurers, commercial arbitration for MNCs and liability matters for hospitals.
Ian’s insurance practice includes advising on energy, construction, engineering, D&O, professional indemnity, banker’s blanket bonds, medical malpractice and business interruption. He also advises on subrogation and has extensive experience in contentious matters relating to insurance and in all forms of dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration and mediation.
He has represented clients in a wide range of high-profile, complex matters in jurisdictions such as Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, India, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Korea, Macau, China, England, Mexico and Jersey.
Ian regularly speaks at industry events and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has been ranked as a ‘Notable Practitioner’ by Chambers Asia Pacific since 2016.
