Morning
Today is my working from home day, in accordance with our hybrid working arrangement. I typically split my week 50% in the office and 50% at home.
I get my son ready for school and drop him at breakfast club. When I get back home, I make myself a nice strong cup of tea, whilst doing a few house chores.

9:00
I check my calendar for the day, making sure I have any required notes to hand and then the day starts with a short projects team meeting. This is our chance to make sure we have sight of any cross project impacts/conflicts and agree resolutions if needed.

11:00
Weekly project reports are due today and will be circulated to senior stakeholders around the firm. I update the project register for each of my current projects with the latest information – my current projects include the deployment of our new Intranet platform and Knowledge Management System and a migration project to move an overseas office to our latest in-house built Case Management software.

Lunch
It’s a bright English autumn day, so I go for a brisk 3.5 mile walk around my local park, the scenery and exercise lift my mood.
-
15:00
I run a project meeting for one of my big projects. The session takes our senior stakeholders through the recent project updates and we get some key decisions made.
-
16:30
In the afternoon I spend some time catching up with business stakeholders to see how they’re progressing with their project tasks. Some colleagues I speak to are overseas - I love that this job connects me to people all over the world!
-
Evening
I collect my son from after-school club and spend time with him on his homework and reading.
